12 January 2016

In the Central Toronto neighbourhoods where I work most often (Wychwood, Oakwood-Vaughan, Humewood-Cedarvale and Corse Italia-Davenport), 2015 saw a continued rise in prices. This rise was most pronounced in Oakwood-Vaughan, where prices jumped 17.6% over 2014. Meanwhile, Humewood-Cedarvale now boasts the highest average price among these neighbourhoods, at $1,074,001.

Here are the numbers for the neighbourhoods where I work. For an overview of last year's sales trends in the rest of Toronto, you can find the Toronto Real Estate Board's year-end summary on the TREB website.

NOTE: Percentages have been rounded to one decimal place. Statistics are based on figures available from TREB as of 1/6/2016. They are believed to be accurate but should not be relied upon without further verification.
